DUE TO THE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL SITUATION IN MYANMAR
WE HAVE DECIDED TO CLOSE OUR CHARITY AND PROJECTS
We built over 30 schools and opened 3 clinics which are now being run by the local community.
We supported over 10 orphanages and our feeding programmes fed 1000’s of children.
We installed 7 wells giving clean water to over 2500 people.
We paid for over 100 medical operations including cancer and heart surgery saving many lives. Many deformities were corrected giving children the chance of a normal life.
The centre for disabled children that we opened 10 years ago will continue to operate under the care of a team of local people including special-needs teachers and Physiotherapists. 165 children are registered at the centre.
Should you wish to continue supporting the people of Myanmar we suggest contacting Medical Action Myanmar. They are a very impressive organisation doing exceptional work running many clinics and have a large team of community healthcare workers. They also run an orphanage for HIV children and have a child protection programme.
We have donated all our remaining funds to them.

On the donate page there are separate details for payments from the UK.
